The blessed tree of Sinai was mentioned in the Holy Quran in the words of Allah Almighty: "A blessed tree, an olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west."

Allah swore by it due to its great virtue. The best olive tree is that which surrounds Jerusalem, and Sinai is considered one of these blessed holy lands that Allah mentioned in His Holy Book.
